ROLE:
Liaise with customers, make reservations and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Make holiday reservations including tailor made itineraries.
Calculate complex holiday bookings.
Liase with customers over the telephone or by email to resolve queries and complaints.
Work as part of a team, ensuring that adequate cover of the desk is maintained and to ensure that all calls are dealt with in a timely manner.
Promote a professional image at all times.
Amend bookings to suit customer requirements.
Complete all holiday documentation.
Liaise with external suppliers.
Work with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
Prioritise and manage own workload.
Continually review of processes to ensure best practice.
Achieve targets set e.g. sales value/volume, call to booking ratio, quality etc
ESSENTIAL:
a) Experience of working in a customer service/customer focussed role.
DESIRABLE:
a) Experience of working in the travel sector.
b) 12 months Call Centre experience.
