As the UK's leading supplier of high quality durable graphics and cladding for the retail environment, our client’s graphic display products and design, installation and fitment services are used by the retail, architectural and utilities sectors. Providing customers with a cost effective ‘make over’ service, they help to build brands, promote themes and meet corporate styles and design objectives. They are now seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager / Field Account Manager to further develop sales to organisations in London and the Home Counties.

This is the ideal role for a successful Sales professional looking to join a leading company with a 20 year pedigree. With names including Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s, The Co-op, Honda, and Marks and Spencer’s already using our client’s services – this is an exciting sales role not to be missed.

As a Business Development Manager / Field Account Manager your focus will be to identify, contact, develop and manage business relationships with both existing and potential customers. Your role will involve selling the company’s market leading services to multi-site retailers, public facilities and large scale project architects, whilst ensuring commercial and strategic opportunities are fully exploited and long term relationships are established.

Applying your proven experience, you will take responsibility for agreeing sales budgets, preparing and actioning account development plans and visiting client sites to discuss the service and how it will meet their requirements. Although this is a home based role you will spend the majority of your time on the road, therefore you must have a clean or nearly clean driving licence.

To succeed as the Business Development Manager / Field Account Manager you must have proven sales experience selling concepts, services and designs into the retail sector, preferably supermarkets. You will also need to demonstrate experience of managing and developing client relationships, forecasting, and business development.

Additionally, you will need to be a competent presenter and communicator with good MS Office skills, and a self starter attitude. You must also be willing to travel across the UK when required, and occasionally to their Head Office in Scotland.

The ideal candidate will be based within easy travelling distance of the M25.
