Corporate Sales Manager, South West & Midlands

As part of a market leading security group of companies - recognised as one of Britain's Top 100 Employers 2008 - Our client specialise in the design, delivery and management of electronic security and remote monitoring solutions. Operating nationally they work with both private and public sector organisations across all markets.

They currently have an opportunity for a Corporate Sales Manager to sell electronic security solutions to new b2b customers, within the South West and Midlands regions.

Key responsibilities:
·Generates new business sales across the South West and Midlands territories within end-user and specifier markets
·Prospects for new security opportunities within existing and new target markets and estates.
·Maintains strong relationships and business development initiatives with the company's manned guarding business and account teams.
·Manages assigned customers and prospects, maximising contract value and profitability.
·Ensures the presentation of competitive bids/proposals
·To make sales projections monthly and quarterly
·Actively identifies and targets new opportunities
·Makes recommendations relating to the commercial development of target sectors/customers within the prescribed regional boundaries.
·In conjunction with the sales support department, conduct security risk assessments (surveys) and produce detailed system designs using company estimating tools and proposals documents.
·To work with operations teams toward the satisfactory installation of customer security system(s)
·To attend sales meetings, ensuring that the required level of preparation is completed.
·To facilitate the prompt resolution of all market queries and pricing requests.

Essential Key Competencies
·An understanding of the electronic security b2b market - Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Detection
·Demonstrable and progressive record of new sales or account development within end-user markets
·The ability to persuade and influence.
·An understanding of professional or structured sales process.
·The ability to present and communicate in a professional manner.
·The ability to plan and organise.
·PC literacy - PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word.

Desirable
·An understanding of the broader security industry and issues


Candidates should have:
·Sound health and smart appearance
·Strong numerical and verbal reasoning abilities
·Capacity to understand highly technical specifications and products
·Be Confident and reliable with determination to succeed

This is a broad geographical role that may require travelling and overnight stay - managed by own discretion.
