Our client is an expanding global leader offering simulation technology and training services to commercial and military markets. In the defence sector, the company works with major customers across the whole spectrum of land, sea and air and is renowned for its technological excellence, backed by substantial investment resources.
The Role:
- This is an excellent personal development role, for a top quality manager and relationship builder to learn about the exciting innovations that the company can bring into the synthetic environment.
- Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will work as part of a team with responsibility for identifying, bidding for and delivering substantial programmes with leading edge technology.
- In addition to establishing and maintaining strong relationships with UK defence customers, there will be plenty of opportunity for overseas travel.
The Person:
- You should have a successful track record of sales and marketing from within a project oriented environment, or be enthusiastic to develop your skills in this area.
- Your background will probably be in engineering and you will have a keen interest in understanding technology.
- People from a military environment will be of interest to us, and experience of defence modelling and simulation will be an advantage.
- To fit within the team you should have good communication, teamworking and leadership skills and be capable of bringing together complex technical and commercial input.
